What helps us give you an accurate number
- Access to the attic hatch and the basement
- A rough idea of the year the house was built
- Any recent renovation or roof work we should know about
- Photos of anything you have already noticed — frost, staining, damp insulation
- Your last winter heating bill, if it is handy
